Description

This product is part of the XC Special limit switch range. This limit switch is a device that converts a mechanical motion into an electrical control signal. This special format limit switch is suitable for hoisting and mechanical handling applications. It has two (one normally closed and one normally open), snap action contacts with positive opening operation and provides switch actuation by any moving part. It has a rated operational current of 3A at 240VAC (A300) (AC-15), 0.27A at 250VDC (Q300) (DC13). Its mechanical durability is 10 million operating cycles and electrical durability is 5 million operating cycles. It has a stay put crossed metal square rods lever and supports lateral approach, two directions. The movement of operating head is rotary. It is furnished with screw clamp terminals for electrical connection. Limit switch has one entry tapped for PG13.5 cable gland. It is compliant with CSA, CCC, EN/IEC, and NF standards and is IP54 rated. European standard products (EN 50047) have positive opening contacts, even in snap action versions which allow use in safety applications. The IEC limit switch offers a positive opening on all snap contacts, for safer machinery. The switch is available with modular design for easier maintenance.
