SPS 2D for Belt Conveyor and Personnel Protection
• Universal mounting design for top or bottom of conveyor wires.
• Robust die-cast aluminum enclosure with standard NEMA-4 clear iridite finish or two-piece baked urethane enamel finish with pendant bond for salty, alkaline or acidic environments. In addition, optional electroless nickel plating for extremely corrosive environments.
• Full cover plate provides easy access to terminals, switches and settings.
• Cover plate removal without removing the actuator cylinder.
• Stocked by local distributors for immediate delivery.
• The roller bearings of the actuator cylinder are rated at 5000 RPM for engagement speeds of 1250 FPM.
• The normal angle of the actuator roller can be shown in 22.5° scenes to open up to the distressed joint and move away from the caps and structure.
• The standard unit includes alarm contacts at 10° from normal and closes at 20° from normal.

Thermo Scientific Ramsey Belt Misalignment Switch (Run Switch)
Used to monitor the position and tracking of conveyor belts
It is mounted on the conveyor structure, thus ensuring the proper distance and angle of the roller arm from the outer edge of the belt.
If the belt is out of alignment, it touches the pulley actuator arm, which rotates the drive shaft and triggers the belt misalignment alarm signal.
Thermo Scientific™ Ramsey™ Safety Cable Pull Switch (Pull Cable Switch)
Used as emergency shutdown device for conveyors or other equipment
Meets OSHA and MSHA requirements for safety shutdown devices
Safety pull cords are attached to the actuation handle of the switch
Pull cable rotates drive arm and drive shaft if force is applied
Key enters an unlocked and locked position with a 20° turn
The movable shaft has two cams; Each cam operates an independent SPDT microswitch for simultaneous shutdown and alarm signals
Thermo Scientific™ Ramsey™ Tripper Position Switch
Often used to indicate the position of a tripper on a conveyor with multiple discharge points
With physical activation, a heavy-duty limit switch can be used wherever needed
