SAS-4E is a Pro-Line snap-action safety cable switch used as an emergency shutdown device for conveyors or other equipment. Thermo Scientific identifies SAS as the version designed to trip not only when the cable is pulled but also if the pull cable becomes slack or broken.

• At 20° shaft rotation the switch enters its tripped and locked state.
• Two cams operate independent SPDT microswitches for shutdown and alarm signals.
• SAS adds slack/broken-cable activation to the safety pull-switch function.
