SPECIFICATIONS
Off-track switches are used along belt conveyors to reduce the risk of damage or destruction of the belt by misalignment of the belt.
Switches type LHR are provided for pair-wise installation, left and right of the belt. In case of lateral deviation of the belt from the given track one roller of this pair of switches will be touched by the flank of the belt and displaced against the resetting force of an internal spring („F“ on the overleaf sketch). Actuation of all contacts is being effected in really simultaneous snap-action at an displacement angle of 10°. The absolut simultaneously chnage-over of the contacts even in the case of very low increasing of the misalignment is effected by an only snap action mechanismn for all contacts (except 2-stage switching version). Even if there should be a spring fracture within the switch or in the case that the contact surfaces should be baken together, the forced-opening system (direct drive, positive drive) effects the secure opening of the circuits. The maximum displacement angle of the roller is 60°. With respect to the version LHRV pre-contacts manage a pre- warning signal, which is provoqued at 10° displacement of the actuation lever, the main contacts commutate at 20° (2 stage contacts). The maximum displacement of the actuation lever in that version is 70°.
Optinal is a version with latching mechanism in actuated position (description letter “w”) for exclusive manual relase with direct access on the switch.
DUK off-track switches type LHR may be individual equipped with up to 2 NO contacts and 2 NC contacts. The inner wiring is executed up to a common terminal strip. An installed push button allows manual by-passing of the contacts, e.g. during the belt position correction.
The enclosure is made of impact resistant cast-iron, type of enclosure COF – CSA – ENC 3, in Europe it is the IP65- protection (water- and dustproof).
The roller of the actuation lever is made of steel and is ball-beared. The roller lever can be mounted on the switch shaft in 4 different positions with increments of 90°.
Guarantee for a long working life, competence and re- utilisation are such invisible details as sealing rings, shafts made of stainless steel, ball-beared actuation shaft, screws made of stainless steel, loss-protected housing cover screws… .
